About this role
Role Overview
- Drive technical project activities, lead customer kick-off meetings, and ensure successful project execution from design to commissioning
- Participate in project risk reviews, manage project budgets, and provide regular progress updates
- Analyse customer specifications, write project technical documentation, and validate technical solutions with customers
- Specify software and IEDs, manage technical execution planning, and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards
- Address technical deviations, manage fault reports, and support site engineers
- Lead Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and coordinate with commissioning teams
- Provide project-specific training to customers and support tendering teams
Requirements
- B.E or B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Over five years of control system-related experience
- In-depth knowledge of Substation Automation, Communication Protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC103, IEC104), Networking concepts
- Proficient in designing and programming electrical control systems, including SCADA/HMI, cybersecurity, network equipment, IEC61850, Firewalls
- Preferred candidates will have proven knowledge in GE Substation Automation Solutions
- Ability to travel globally with short periods
