About this role
Role Overview
- Advise GM personnel, technical staff, government relations/public policy staff, and management on global environmental, emissions, vehicle safety, autonomous vehicle, dangerous-goods transportation, and substances-of-concern laws and regulations
- Represent GM before federal and state authorities, agencies, administrative tribunals, and courts in regulatory matters and disputes
- Review proposed laws and regulations, and provide legal advice in support of efforts to influence rulemaking and lawmaking
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Mexican regulations
- integrity, government relations and negotiations
- knowledge of vehicle components
- Advanced English proficiency
- Organized, generate new ideas within the team, person of integrity, initiative
