collaborate closely with QA engineers to define test scenarios.
partner with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, implementable technical solutions and quickly resolve defects.
analyze and troubleshoot issues and implement durable fixes.
actively participate in cross‑team meetings focused on release planning, solution design, and risk/issue resolution .
work effectively with client support teams and implementation architects to resolve application issues and support production environments.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Degree in Computer Information Science or Technology , or related technical field.
Work Experience: 8-10yrs
Atleast 4+ years previous COBOL development experience.
Previous exposure to Automation Frameworks .
Experience in research and analysis, project planning, and implementation is a plus.
Experience with any of the following is a plus: PERL, UNIX, DB2, .NET, Python, Oracle .
Hands-on experience in COBOL development in a mainframe environment.
Understanding of software development fundamentals and experience working within large, complex systems.
Experience collaborating with QA teams and Business Analysts across the full development lifecycle.
Comfortable and professional interacting with customers (verbal and written) to discuss requirements, issues, and solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English , including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to non‑technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, stay organized, and consistently meet frequent milestones and deadlines.
Proven success performing effectively in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
