Install and repair marine electrical cable throughout the ship
Install, route, and terminate lighting systems and electrical power equipment
Work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics to complete accurate, code-compliant installations
Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure proper function and safety
Operate in an active shipyard environment involving heights, confined spaces, and variable conditions
Follow safety procedures that meet — and often exceed — industry standards

Proven experience in electrical installation, repair, or industrial/marine electrical work
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safe work practices
Reliability, teamwork, and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
Minimum 4 years experience in the commercial, industrial or marine electrical field
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Read and interpret marine drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements
