About this role
Role Overview
Lead a portfolio of improvement initiatives that are measurable and drive value for the Finance team
Drive cross functional business initiative/projects
Responsible for leading process improvement projects, focusing on process re-engineering, improving process quality, and efficiency
Develop standard practices and ensure all teams adopt consistent processes, where applicable
Interact with leadership and peers to drive and influence improvement objectives
Requirements
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
Experience in conducting needs analysis and evaluation
Experience in managing large & complex projects from initiation to close
High attention to detail and quality of work
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization at all levels
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec
CPA or CA professional designation preferred
Very strong accounting knowledge, preferably in group insurance
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is an asset
