Independently manage ongoing accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Continuously analyze and optimize existing accounting processes
Support the implementation and further development of finance and accounting tools and digital solutions
Ensure audit-proof documentation and archiving of all accounting records in compliance with legal requirements
Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Contribute to the development of internal accounting policies and processes

Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in economics/business administration, or an equivalent qualification with a focus on accounting/finance
Several years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting
Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Excel, and a strong IT affinity with openness to digital processes
Experience working with an ERP system
Analytical, structured and independent working style combined with strong numerical affinity and pronounced problem-solving skills
High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, and a reliable, meticulous work approach
Very good German language skills (at least C1) in spoken and written form; good English skills are an advantage.
