Develop and maintain standardized courseware templates, development workflows, and production guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams.
Create and enforce quality assurance checklists and review processes for instructional design and media development.
Define best practices for learning objectives, assessments, and content structure to ensure pedagogical integrity.
Research and implement emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to modernize courseware and improve learner experience.
Partner with the courseware development pod resources to embed standards and innovation into daily workflows.
Monitor industry trends, learner feedback, and performance data to refine standards and introduce new approaches.
Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, or HCI; ID certifications (e.g., ATD, eLearning Guild) beneficial
8–12 years in L&D/courseware; 3–5 leading standards/templates/workflows.
Template architecture (storyboards, scripts, media specs)
Workflow design & process mapping (from intake to deployment)
Quality systems (checklists, peer reviews, QA sign-off)
