Azure DevOps Engineer, Administrator

Role Overview

• Administer and optimize Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Enterprise
• Manage Azure Boards, Repositories, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans
• Configure branch policies, security groups, service connections, agent pools, and RBAC access controls
• Implement governance, auditing, and compliance standards
• Support migration efforts between Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation, ATO processes, and continuous monitoring
• Design and maintain YAML pipelines, Azure Pipelines, and GitHub Actions workflows
• Implement automated testing, code scanning, approval workflows, and artifact management
• Integrate pipelines with Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Azure Storage
• Develop reusable pipeline templates and deployment strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps administration and development
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Services
• Azure cloud administration
• GitHub Enterprise administration
• Git and branching strategies
• CI/CD methodologies
• Hands-on experience with YAML pipelines
• Azure Pipelines
• GitHub Actions
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Security and compliance-driven environments
• DevOps governance and automation
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Microsoft certifications: AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305
• GitHub certifications: GitHub Foundations, GitHub Actions, GitHub Administration
• Experience with Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics
• Knowledge of AI platforms and automation tools
