Provide support to the VP–Chief Legal Counsel on corporate and compliance matters
Review routine legal agreements and pleadings
Coordinate with internal and external counsel on discovery, document collection, and litigation calendaring
Conduct factual and legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulatory analysis
Assist with regulatory and licensing matters
Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and department records
Support legal review of agreements under the direction of the Legal team
Respond to internal inquiries regarding contracts, policies, and other legal issues
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, expense oversight, filing, and record-keeping
Maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, insurers, and regulators
Ensure consistency between the legal department and business partners
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the legal department

5+ years of experience as a paralegal, ideally with a focus on regulatory compliance and/or contract review
Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field (Paralegal certification is a plus)
Proficient with MS Office and legal research databases, and can quickly learn new systems
Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
Works well independently and as part of a team
Adapts well to procedural and organizational changes
Positive, learning-oriented attitude and takes initiative in their work
Able to work overtime as business needs require
