Gain a solid understanding of Company’s trade-compliance goals and challenges in Israel and Europe, Middle East (EMEA)
Support the identification and implementation of appropriate legal strategies and risk-management processes and controls to facilitate goals and minimize challenges
Identify, analyze, and support complex issues pertaining to EMEA trade risk
Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for acquiring timely resolution to import/export complexities
Provide effective solutions to include: developing clear policies, procedures, and checklists; drafting correspondence to government agencies; evaluating global regulatory and licensing requirements
Advise global trade team members, product managers, sales, operations, engineering, and executives
Work with outside counsel in various jurisdictions
Recognize potential trade-compliance gaps and implement solutions
Develop and conduct trade-compliance training
Support trade compliance activities related to merger-and-acquisition due diligence
Furnish regular communication on legal issues and opportunities
Support internal investigations, audits, and risk assessments related to trade compliance
Occasional travel to domestic and international offices
Support on other projects, initiatives, and strategic opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of min. 8 years or Master's Level Degree and related work experience of min. 6 years or Doctorate Degree and related work experience of min. 3 years
Shown ability to operate in a global, cross‑functional environment
Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to management and collaborators
Willingness to travel occasionally to domestic and international offices
Fluent English language skills, German would be an advantage.
