About this role

We are seeking candidates with deep expertise in gene and cell therapy business development, especially with hands-on experience in sales, and contracting; driving innovations that support the broader healthcare system.
Responsible for the success and financial operations of US Business Development.
In conjunction with the VP of Business Development responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets and new geographies, analyzing business opportunities and the development.
Conducts financial feasibility studies and develops proposals for new business opportunities.
Provides business development advice and acts as a liaison with the Center for Technology Commercialization on licensing agreements and start-up companies.
Will work with professional sales force to develop and launch CCHMC products and services.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Preferred: MBA or MHA
10+ years related experience primarily in Business Development and/or Value Proposition/Product Development Management
5+ years leading teams (direct and cross-functional) in either: medical device/equipment/service company; healthcare consulting; or complex medical center
Experience leading new product development and launch in a matrix organization
Experience developing strategy and leading execution
Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
