Lead end segment strategy development and execution across Southeast Asia
Own demand generation and expand access to key customers across both government and private sectors, unlocking opportunities beyond existing sales coverage
Identify, shape, and secure large-scale strategic projects, focusing on long-term, high-impact wins
Drive commercial execution excellence across businesses and markets, ensuring alignment between strategy and field execution
Develop targeted initiatives to penetrate accounts and opportunities where current sales teams have limited access
Build and advance senior-level relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and enterprise customers
Lead strategic focus on priority segments to be defined, including Environmental, Government, Applied, Biopharma, Life Sciences and other scientific markets
Partner closely with sales, marketing, and channel teams to complement existing go-to-market models and maximize total commercial impact
Translate macro trends (e.g., environmental policy, public health initiatives etc) into actionable growth opportunities
Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated solutions leveraging Thermo Fisher’s full portfolio
Monitor competitive landscape and implement strategies to strengthen market positioning
Act as a strategic bridge between customers, commercial teams, and leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
10+ years of relevant commercial, business development, or strategic leadership experience
Proven track record in driving large, complex deal pursuits and strategic project wins in Southeast Asia
Strong understanding of government engagement models, public sector procurement, and private sector dynamics
Experience working in matrixed, multinational organizations preferred
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market trends into executable growth strategies
Excellent commercial acumen and demand generation intensity, with experience in identifying opportunities and accelerating deal closure
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with ability to engage at senior and executive levels
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and open new market opportunities
Results-driven mindset with a focus on long-term value creation over short-term transactional wins
Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams and geographies
High level of integrity and professionalism
