Staff Software Engineer – Back End, Front End

Role Overview

• Lead technical direction across engineering, DevOps, and product leadership
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively
• Mentor engineers and improve software engineering processes
• Participate in technical depth interviews and design sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of engineering experience
• Expert-level capabilities in at least one major technology stack
• Strong generalist with skills in Java, Ruby, Node, Python, Go
• Ability to explain Kubernetes with hands-on experience in CD systems
• Direct experience with Kafka or another distributed event platform (preferred)
• Experience at large or bureaucratically complex organizations (preferred)
