Role Overview
- Plan, participate, and lead various styles of audit programs
- Conduct/lead EHS compliance audits
- Conduct/lead process safety management and risk management program audits
- Conduct/lead supply chain due diligence/risk audits
- Conduct/lead waste receiving facility audits
- Lead development of permitting and EHS compliance strategies
- Coordinate for management of client EHS compliance programs
- Develop and deliver EHS training
- Provide regulatory interpretation of EHS laws and develop compliance strategies
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging USEPA, OSHA, and state EHS regulatory requirements
- Develop effective business presentations and proposals
Requirements
- BA/BS + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 6 years of experience conducting EHS regulatory compliance audit fieldwork
- Valid Driver’s License
- US Citizenship required
- Excellent working knowledge of Federal, State, County/Regional, and Local EHS regulations and consensus standards
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in engineering, physical sciences, safety, or related field (preferred)
- 8 years of EHS experience in a professional services consulting firm (preferred)
- Experience managing EHS programs
- Experience developing/managing EHS compliance programs
- Professional certification
- CPEA, PE, CSP, CIH, or other equivalent certification (preferred)
