Role Overview
Provide visible representation of Bioresources Process Engineering Design technical expertise to clients
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Lead, coordinate or manage members of a team of Process engineers for delivery of technical design work
Responsible for managing the production and review of technical deliverables
Lead on the development of project design deliverables for Process aspects of complex projects
Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and business growth
Work closely with teams within AtkinsRéalis to ensure lessons learnt in their projects are incorporated
Provide Technical Leadership within discipline
Grow, develop, and manage the Process Engineering capabilities within the practice
Advise client, operational, project, or service activities within project teams
Manage or collaborate on technical aspects of bid proposals
Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues
Requirements
Chartered Engineer, preferably IChemE or CIWEM
Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent (e.g. Environmental, Water and Waste water engineering, etc.)
In-depth knowledge and broad expertise in Process engineering treatment processes and principles e.g. advanced anaerobic digestion, advanced thermal conversion (ATC), etc.
Expert understanding of the integrated nature of treatment processes and principles
Experience in the UK Water Industry is recommended.
Proven experience in leading large-scale, complex process engineering design delivery
Experience of integrating elements as part of an existing or new treatment process into an existing treatment process
Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts
