About this role
Role Overview
- Coordinate with various groups to assist in the development of Center's budget.
- Monitor the center's budget to ensure proper execution.
- Track and archive board-approved programmatic and financial requirements.
- Assist with monitoring anticipated resource requirements and actual expenditures for all Front Office activities.
- Draft financial reports to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements.
- Track external stakeholder funding and maintain configuration management of the Center's financial and execution documentation.
- Support the center's management of spending authorities.
- Support budget meetings by preparing necessary documentation and collection actions.
- Support creation of SLA, DocIDs, BCRs, and BLIs and support concurrence on budgetary requests.
- Assist in drafting SOPS and policies.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- 15+ years of experience in federal budget/financial management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Agency budget reporting systems
- Deep understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and efficiency in dynamic and stressful situations
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience dealing with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, including Pivot Tables and other data visualization tools.
