collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, experts, and customers
design, implement, and maintain model-based plant/system models and Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) simulation environments
perform evidence-based trade-off analyses
support application engineers during commissioning activities
define system-level control specifications, including failure mode analysis, safety and cybersecurity considerations
analyze, evaluate and document the dynamic behavior of engine control system elements
design, develop and maintain engine control system architectures (hardware, software and services)
coordinate with project management and software/hardware development teams
Requirements
successfully completed engineering studies in the field of automotive, powertrain, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics engineering, or similar
solid experience in combustion engine control system development, including multi-physics modeling, and ideally engine calibration (performance and emissions)
proficient in Matlab/Simulink and embedded software engineering, with strong skills in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and signal processing
familiar with ALM/PLM and requirements authoring tools
analytical mindset, high learnability, agile methods, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional engineering teams
willing and able to occasionally travel
fluent in English
