Role Overview
- Perform data validations to identify and capture incorrect data transferred from source systems to the General Ledger
- Extract and analyze data to support the accurate and complete delivery of business processes
- Execute month-end closing procedures, including the preparation and posting of all necessary journal entries and financial bookings
- Manage Data Quality Portal tickets, acting as a liaison between teams on relevant data quality issues
- Attend meetings to discuss data quality issues and provide relevant status updates
- Collaborate closely with involved teams to provide effective support
- Support finance-related projects and participate in testing activities
Requirements
- An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics
- An understanding of basic accounting principles is essential
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or a finance-related field
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- The ability to deliver results under tight deadlines
- Flexibility and a strong sense of ownership
- Knowledge of banking products (considered an advantage)
