The planner is responsible for the end-to-end materials planning process, ensuring the timely supply and availability of materials to support commercialization projects.
Develop and implement comprehensive materials planning strategies aligned with commercialization project timelines.
Forecast material demand based on project requirements.
Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply chain issues.
Minimize obsolete and slow-moving inventory through effective inventory management.
Actively participate in project follow-up meetings to stay informed about project progress and potential material requirements changes.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality and on-time delivery.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
Monitor working capital tied up in inventory and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field
2+ Years Supply Chain experience preferably within FMCG
Strong knowledge of S&OP, Supply and Material Planning principles
Proficiency in Supply Chain & Supply Chain Planning software & tools preferred (OMP, Kinaxis, O9 or SAP APO)
Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
