Experienced defining transportation methods balancing cost, service, and quality
Ability to track impact files before and after network redesigns
Modeling using Supply chain optimization tools (i.e) Optilogic desired
Comfortable managing large sets of data to perform transportation studies
Desirable project management experience
Develop business case with projected cost savings/volume impact
Ensure project alignment and timing with other current and deployed initiatives across logistics
Ensure regional/global input is received for all major decisions as it relates to logistics processes and systems
Root cause issues to identify initiatives to improve process and cost competitiveness
Design and run network modeling tool
Develop long-term plans for inventory, pipeline, and capacity management
Requirements
2+ years relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, logistics or product development (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)
Project management skills and proven experience leading projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with other cross-functional areas such as purchasing, engineering, manufacturing & sales.
Expert in analytics tools with ability to learn new tools/systems quickly
Data analytics (e.g. SQL, R, Python)
Data visualization (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Ability to drive long-term projects through to completion.
