About this role
Role Overview
Lead calibration development and optimization efforts within Low Voltage Infrastructure, focusing on commonization across programs and adherence to Calibration Standard Work to meet performance and timing targets.
Conduct calibration reviews to ensure high quality calibrations.
Organize, plan, and coordinate calibration activities with Lead Calibrators, Technical Specialist, and Electric Power Scrum Teams.
Participate in Scrum team discussions and drive improvement to SW algorithms.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve vehicle, system, and controls deficiencies by collaborating with responsible owners to ensure effective and timely closure.
Lead root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of vehicle, plant, durability/dyno, and customer issues, while driving the implementation and institutionalization of long-term corrective actions.
Utilize analytical tools to develop, improve, and verify calibrations.
Develop, use, and improve calibration procedures.
Participate in development trips and related test activities.
Support identification of requirements for resources to develop calibrations.
Requirements
BS Engineering Degree or equivalent discipline.
5+ years of post-graduation engineering experience.
Minimum of 2 years of calibration engineering experience.
Independent worker requiring little direction and works well in a team environment.
Experience with tools commonly used in calibration: INCA, Vehicle Spy, CRETA, MDA, Matlab/Simulink.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to guide new calibrators and work with cross-functional teams.
Experience with data acquisition and analysis.
