Executive Director – Philanthropy

Role Overview

• Manage a portfolio of 30-50 donors and prospects
• Establish, implement, and execute annual and multi-year fundraising strategies
• Participate in the planning of multi-year campaigns
• Assist in the development of donor strategies
• Collaborate with Donor Relations and Events for donor engagement
• Engage Prospect Development team for strategic donor identification
• Coordinate outreach and activities with prospects/donors
• Increase engagement and leadership in philanthropy
• Prepare contact reports from donor interactions
• Attend meetings and events related to fundraising activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in philanthropy
• Proven track record of building donor relationships and securing large gifts
• Healthcare fundraising experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to interface effectively across all levels of the system
• Ability and willingness to travel, as necessary
