The QA Coordinator provides necessary support to Quality Team Members and customers in administering and completing essential duties and responsibilities for the department
Supports all day-to-day activities of QA team members, QA processes and procedures
Effective use of communication skills to keep customers, employees and vendors advised and updated with key quality information
Maintains and guarantees Balchem Corporations quality and safety standards
Directly reports to the Quality Assurance Manager for proper direction, interpretation, and evaluation
Requirements
Lab experience is required, and food-handling experience is desirable
HACCP knowledge and understanding required/PCQI preferred
Must have sound analytical and technical skills
Individual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written)
Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Demonstration of strong work ethics (dependable, and trustworthy)
Must be able to communicate and handle conflict in a professional manner
Ability to give and welcome feedback and contribute to building a positive team spirit
