Role Overview
- Proactively manage a block of litigated disability claims
- Represent Sun Life in mediations, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Instruct legal counsel on litigated claims
- Handle escalated matters in a timely manner
- Provide leadership in complex case management
- Build strong relationships with team members
- Identify opportunities to improve processes for service excellence
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
- At least 5 years of recent disability case management experience
- Some knowledge of litigation case management strategies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only
