Define and redefine the global professional education capabilities strategy aligned with DePuy Synthes commercial priorities and growth objectives
Build and oversee scalable global education platforms, learning technologies, and operating models to support surgeon, healthcare professional, and internal commercial education
Partner with Global and Regional Commercial, Marketing, and Medical Education leaders to translate business needs into effective education solutions
Establish global standards, governance, and procedures for professional education content development, delivery, and measurement
Lead and develop a high‑performing globally distributed team, fostering talent growth, inclusion, and collaboration across geographies
Drive innovation in education methodologies, including digital, hybrid, and experiential learning approaches
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, legal, and quality requirements for all professional education activities
Define and monitor key performance indicators to assess education effectiveness, learner engagement, and business impact
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field)
Typically requires 12-14 years of progressive experience in professional education, commercial enablement, learning strategy, or related fields within healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences
Proven experience leading global or enterprise‑level education capabilities and transformation initiatives
Demonstrated people‑leadership experience, including leading leaders and global teams
Strong critical thinking and ability to translate business strategy into scalable education solutions
Experience partnering cross‑functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and regional partners
Excellent communication, influence, and collaborator management skills at senior leadership levels
Up to 25% domestic and international travel will be required
