Act as subject matter expert for tank and vessel relief sizing analysis
Develop site strategy to ensure a valid contingency analysis for all site reliefs
Oversee implementation of that strategy with support of contract resources as necessary
Act as process engineering support to the units
Develop in-depth process area knowledge by driving tactical and strategic process improvements
Analyze current process capability, find root causes to issues, and implement improvements
Represent manufacturing, process optimization projects, and process and product changes using a cross-functional team approach

BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing

Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment

A strong understanding of fluid flow principles and thermodynamics
Proficient in applying relevant industry codes and standards such as API 520, API 521, ASME Section VIII
Understanding of Management of Change (MOC) processes
