Role Overview
- Lead delivery with vision in transportation project delivery
- Balance risk, opportunity, and financial returns in commercial management
- Provide commercial advice on contract documentation preparation and negotiation
- Develop and implement commercial strategy on projects
- Mentor junior members of the commercial team
- Ensure compliance with the Company Management System
- Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders within project deadlines
Requirements
- Track record of successful project delivery in a commercial management role (Transport, Water, and Energy sectors)
- Expert in contract management and change control
- Experience with NEC & NEC PSC contract forms
- Ability to develop and implement procurement and supply chain initiatives
- Understanding of procurement law and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills including reporting and contractual correspondence
- Experience in leading and motivating a team within a large-scale business
