About this role
Role Overview
- Lead and undertake projects in flood risk management
- Deliver hydraulic and hydrological modelling projects
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Manage, supervise, and mentor junior resources
- Contribute to business development activities including tendering for projects
- Ensure quality assurance for technical deliverables
Requirements
- Experience in delivering flood risk projects with a focus on integrated catchment modelling using the ICM software
- Proven in-depth experience of 1D-2D modelling using InfoWorks ICM
- GIS skills in ArcGIS, MapInfo or QGIS
- Relevant years of experience in carrying out flood risk analyses
- Experience in developing and leading technical teams, supporting and mentoring staff
- Use of other software like Flood Modeller, TUFLOW / ESTRY or HEC-RAS is an advantage
- Experience in FEH hydrological assessment is desirable
