Project Manager

Role Overview

• Actively manage both risk and opportunities
• Manage a variety of complex projects and bids
• Act as primary point of contact for customers
• Report to Management on the progress and performance of the project
• Manage sub-contractors, ensuring flow through of customer requirements and supplier performance
• Manage all project stakeholders; ensuring strong communications are established and maintained
• Ensure a relevant Project Management Plan complete with resource plan are fully maintained
• Coaching and Mentoring of Junior Project Managers

Requirements

• Engineering or Business Degree/diploma would be advantageous (beneficial IPMA/Prince/APM/PMI qualified)
• Customer-focused balanced with recognising the need for governance
• Ability to establish and meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning and delivery orientation
• Full business lifecycle management, including capture, qualification and developing capture plans and winning strategies
• Experience in bids and projects
