About this role
Role Overview
- Provide support for the planning and implementation of the summer camping program
- Report all equipment maintenance requirements to the Corps Officer(s)
- Assist Corps Officer(s) with staff schedules
- Be a resource in providing support for activities with campers
- Ensure that inventory of the equipment is taken at the beginning of camp season
- Assist with staff training and participate in camp cleanup
Requirements
- Relevant post-secondary coursework or education, adequate training and/or relevant experience is preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a summer camping program setting
- Respect and understanding of The Salvation Army
- its mission, culture, and values
- Provide an original copy of a Background Check with vulnerable sector screening that is satisfactory to The Salvation Army
