Developing and optimizing product designs and materials to enhance performance and cost efficiency for disposable absorbent products;
Validating raw materials and new product concepts, in collaboration with suppliers and internal labs;
Characterizing materials (e.g., fluff pulp, SAP, nonwovens, films, adhesives) for performance attributes such as absorbency, rewet, retention, and/or softness;
Navigating complex IP constraints to ensure freedom to operate and/or designing around existing patents to enable market access managing risks;
Working with super absorbent polymers and nonwoven materials (i.e. spunbond, meltblown, carded), selecting and validating them based on performance parameters, such as retention capacity, permeability, softness to optimize product design in absorbent hygiene products.
