Define brand strategies for Medtronic’s mitral and tricuspid therapies that establishes a clear and sustainable market position
Lead global launch of transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve systems.
Recruit, develop and manage a high performing downstream marketing team.
Develop and execute annual global product marketing plans in collaboration with commercial marketing functions (e.g. Med Ed, Professional Relations, Integrated marketing, etc).
Represent marketing on new product development core teams
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
Foster positive relationships with key opinion leaders, industry luminaries, and other partners to support therapy and product acceptance
Work across a broad group of stakeholders to successfully execute role including Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Senior Leadership (including the Chief Medical Officer), Global Commercial Leadership, Market Development, Medical Education, Field Training, Therapy Development, Physician Relations, Clinical Research, Regulatory and Legal.
Travel up to 40% including international travel.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
15+ years combined or advanced degree with 13+ years relevant experience in two or more of the following functions: marketing, market development, sales, field training or other relevant areas
5+ years of commercial experience; preferably with both upstream and downstream medical device marketing experience.
Master’s degree/MBA in Business, Marketing, or related field strongly preferred.
Significant experience launching novel medical devices and building new therapies
Experience creating new brands and/or brand strategy
Strong understanding of structural heart disease states and therapies or the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge
Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and financial analysis skills.
Experience with project management/project leadership, excellent planning and organizational skills coupled with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently
Experience in multicultural organizations
Proven track record of ability to navigate and collaborate within a global matrix organization
Excellent spoken and written English is required.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
