Identify and qualify leads for LeafLink’s banking services, focusing on licensed cannabis wholesale and retail operators.
Conduct research and outreach to generate interest in LeafLink’s financial products, including cannabis-focused fintech solutions, retail operations software, and inventory management tools.
Support cross-sell initiatives by educating potential clients on additional products such as cash flow management and operations software, and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a healthy sales pipeline through effective outreach and timely follow-up with leads.
Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, or HubSpot to track prospects, manage communications, and generate reports.
Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media messaging to engage with prospects and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Work closely with Account Executives and other internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and provide insights into customer needs and market trends.
Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics such as lead generation targets, call volumes, and conversion rates.
Requirements
1+ year of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within a SaaS, fintech, or cannabis-related company.
Demonstrated ability to prospect and qualify leads through various channels (calls, emails, social media, etc.).
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, or HubSpot is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to quickly learn and articulate LeafLink’s product offerings and value propositions.
Self-starter with a passion for the cannabis industry and an understanding of its unique challenges.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience in banking or financial services for cannabis businesses is a plus.
