Lead and manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, including:
Insurance verification
Authorizations
Claims submission
Payment posting
Denial management
Accounts receivable follow-up
Collections
Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and maximize reimbursement.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including AR aging, clean claim rate, denial trends, collection percentages, and reimbursement timelines.
Ensure compliance with payer contracts, Medicaid requirements, HIPAA regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with clinical and operations leadership to ensure accurate documentation and timely billing.
Oversee relationships with insurance payers and support contract management initiatives.
Analyze revenue cycle data and prepare regular reporting for executive leadership.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Leverage technology, automation tools, and AI-driven solutions to improve revenue cycle efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance billing accuracy and collections performance.
Manage, mentor, and develop the RCM team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Support expansion efforts including new state or payer implementations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
5+ years of progressive revenue cycle management experience in healthcare.
Prior experience in ABA, behavioral health, pediatric therapy, or multi-site/multi-state healthcare strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance and Medicaid billing practices.
Experience managing billing systems, EMRs, and reporting tools.
Collaborated cross-functionally to integrate automation and AI capabilities into RCM operations, supporting improved compliance, productivity, and financial outcomes.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving operational improvements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scaling RCM operations within a growing healthcare organization.
Familiarity with ABA billing codes, authorizations, and payer-specific requirements.
CPC, CRCR, or similar certification is a plus.
