Role Overview
- Advise on the end-to-end management of environmental incidents, overseeing investigations to determine contamination and associated risks
- Apply early career electrical engineering experience within a structured, supervised environment
- Document evidence, record conditions, and gather technical data such as drawings, test results, and maintenance records
- Assess failures and damage, supporting clear, evidence-based conclusions and producing concise technical reports for insurers, loss adjusters, and clients, subject to review
- Maintain organized records, manage documentation, engage with stakeholders, and respond to technical queries while supporting the Lead Forensic Engineer and wider team delivery
Requirements
- BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering
- Solid understanding of electrical principles, installations, and distribution systems
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation
- Uses structured methods to support analysis of electrical faults and incidents under supervision
- Detail-focused and methodical; manages multiple tasks while maintaining accurate technical records
- Takes responsibility for work, demonstrates strong work ethic, IT proficiency, and a commitment to ongoing learning
