Civil Engineer – Associate / Director

Role Overview

• Help shape the future of New Zealand’s urban environments and critical infrastructure, leading complex civil projects across transport, utilities, stormwater and city-shaping developments throughout Tāmaki Makaurau and beyond.
• Lead complex civil design projects across urban development and infrastructure
• Deliver stormwater, utilities and civil infrastructure solutions for major projects
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Champion technical quality and design excellence across project delivery
• Lead internal project and design management for large-scale infrastructure work
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the wider team
• Drive innovation and digital delivery across projects and client solutions

Requirements

• Extensive experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment
• Strong capability across roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities and pavements
• Deep understanding of NZ civil design standards and project delivery
• Experience in construction monitoring and quality assurance
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or progressing toward it
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder engagement capability
• Collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and team development
