About this role
Role Overview
- Performs a variety of basic accounting duties according to established policies and procedures.
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information
- Prepare financial reports by performing reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
- Prepares and/or reviews monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Assist in preparing for internal audits and monthly closings
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Accounting (Required)
- Financial accounting experience (journal entry posting, balance sheet reconciliation, expense accruals, etc.)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well with others
- General knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with Workday and/or hospital/healthcare accounting a plus but not required.
