Assisting with bookkeeping queries using cloud accounting software.
Supporting process improvement work.
Helping clients improve their use of finance systems.
Assisting with the preparation of client dashboards, KPIs and performance metrics.
Using Excel extensively to analyse data.
Helping to prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets and simple financial models.
Learning how to interpret financial information and identify trends.
Developing an understanding of how to communicate numbers to business owners.
Contributing to client meetings.
Responding to client queries on day-to-day finance issues.
Liaising with other experts on the client’s behalf.
Building awareness of wider commercial issues.
Visiting client’s offices to engage with the wider team.
Working closely with managers to free up their time.
