Vice President Engineering – Back End

Role Overview

• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of projects
• Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices
• Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of IT instances
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, including technical specifications, system configurations, and user guides
• Ensure that all IT implementations comply with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within projects
• Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other development team members to deliver cohesive and comprehensive digital solutions

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience of Java, Spring Boot frameworks
• Good working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot frameworks
• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies (preferably Azure)
• Strong background in understanding DevOps pipeline
• Frontend knowledge and skills
• React.js, Angular, HTML5, CSS3
• Backend knowledge and skills – Springboot, node.js, Elasticsearch, Docker
• Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts
