About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Lead or contribute to service architecture design, particularly in microservices and event-driven systems
- Optimize data queries and system performance for relational and NoSQL databases
- Build and manage CI/CD workflows using Docker and Git
- Integrate AI-related features (e.g., model inference APIs, vector databases, NLP pipelines) into backend systems
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality and maintainability
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Maintain and troubleshoot production systems and participate in on-call support when needed.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (FastAPI)
- Solid understanding of Git-based development workflows
- Experience with Docker for environment setup, packaging, and deployment
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), caching, and performance best practices
- Knowledge or experience with AI/ML systems (e.g., integrating ML APIs, handling inference pipelines)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Go or Java for backend development (Python remains the top priority).
- Basic frontend knowledge (JavaScript/TypeScript with Vue or React)
- Familiarity with distributed systems tools (e.g., Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Hands-on experience deploying ML models as APIs or integrating LLMs.
