Contribute to adding features requested by stakeholders to containers security libraries to be vendored into products like Podman, Podman Desktop, OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Participate on a scrum team and complete tasks assigned within sprint boundaries.
Give demos to your peers on work you’ve completed each sprint.
Work with upstream communities like Podman, skopeo, and buildah.
Ensure test plans for the code you create exist and that documentation is correct.
Design and implement automated test cases.
Analyze defects, design solutions, and engineer fixes.
Quickly respond to security threats.
Requirements
Solid knowledge of Linux (using linux as workstation or server to run applications)
Experience analysing systems for their security properties
Understanding of using AI and agents for software development
Experience with at least one of the following: Golang, Rust
Experience with Linux containers or Kubernetes
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Knowledgeable about Post Quantum Cryptography (plus)
Knowledgeable about Linux Kernel and kernel modules (GPU support and compilation) (plus)
Knowledge of AI models, container registry services (plus).
