Take ownership to develop new lapping and Pitstop process
Deliver best-in-class for writer and reader requirement
Develop assembly tooling or machine that are compatible with the new lapping and pitstop process
Learn & study the chemical properties of various lubricant (Lube and Slurry)
Work closely with operation shop floor teams (manufacturing, process and equipment engineering)
Be responsible for technology and/or process transfer between sites or inter departments

Bachelor’s or higher degree in the Electrical/Mechatronic/Chemical Engineering/Computer science and/or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Hard Disk Drives or Electronic Manufacturing
Mechanical Design and Development
Process development and process improvement
Problem analysis (6-sigma approach, Kepner Tregoe and CAPA8D)
Proficiency in CAD design or simulation tools and basic automation control systems is an added advantage
Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written.
