Manage and coordinate technical project activities to support the successful delivery of project goals, timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes
Prepare and manage project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, procurement packages, and reporting in line with APA project frameworks and engineering standards
Support the delivery of projects through all phases including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, and close-out activities
Monitor and manage project scope changes, risks, and third-party contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure effective project execution and achievement of project objectives
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting dashboards, and risk registers while driving continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery activities
Requirements
Tertiary Engineering qualification or an equivalent technical/technician background with relevant industry experience
Experience working within the oil and gas industry or a similar environment, ideally across the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of pipeline and facility assets
A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary projects involving mechanical, pipeline, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
Strong project delivery skills, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, contractor management, and driving projects through to successful completion
Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and regulations relating to high-pressure gas transmission facilities, including AS2885, AS4041, and ASME B31.3, or the ability to quickly build capability in these areas
A proactive mindset with strong communication skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams, contractors, and stakeholders
