Planning, execution and management of safety engineering processes, analyses and documentation for complex systems in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ARP4754/4761, EN 50126/50129, ISO 26262, MIL standards).
Conducting system safety and reliability assessments (FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA, Fault Tree Analysis) at system-to-component level.
Defining safety goals and deriving quantitative safety requirements, including acceptable failure probabilities.
Creating, coordinating, verifying and managing safety requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and maintaining high-quality documentation.
Working closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams and providing technical support in customer discussions as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in safety or reliability engineering.
Solid hands-on experience with safety analysis methods such as FMEA/FMECA/FMEDA and Fault Tree Analysis.
Strong knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ARP4754/4761, EN 50126/50129, ISO 26262 or equivalent).
Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail and a structured way of working.
Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2).
