Role Overview
- Oversee the financial aspects of trading activities
- Reconciliation of daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks
- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks
- Maintenance and analysis of the bank’s trading data
- Preparation and submission of regulatory reports to authorities
- Effective communication of complex financial information
- Cross functional collaboration to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities
Requirements
- Qualified accountant
- Experienced with MS office toolkit
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings
- Strong control awareness – particularly, the ability to identify and escalate potential control breakdowns and to streamline processes effectively
- Audit exposure in large financial institutions / banks preferred.
