Collaborating with eDiscovery Solutions Attorneys to develop and implement best practices for handling clients’ electronically stored information (ESI)
Understanding client needs and expectations, ensuring requirements are documented, communicated, and incorporated into project plans
Liaising with clients’ in‑house eDiscovery teams to create or support documented best practices
Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines for eDiscovery projects
Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and other colleagues with regards to eDiscovery procedures and best practices
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
Possess advanced operational skills and expertise with legal processes, electronic discovery best practices, and the ability to advise case teams accordingly
Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of IT systems architecture, including server systems, email systems, database systems, telecommunications systems, mobile devices, social media, and cloud storage and implications for eDiscovery
Exhibit expert‑level knowledge of forensics collection methodologies, ESI processing, and document review technologies
A bachelor’s degree
Certification in project management or eDiscovery practices, such as PMP or CEDS, preferably
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in electronic discovery consulting and project management, and litigation support, including data processing and document review platforms
