About this role
Role Overview
- Provide support in the administration, provisioning, monitoring and maintenance of AWS environments, ensuring availability, security, stability and proper operation of the serverless platform that supports the banking core.
- Assist in the creation, configuration and maintenance of AWS environments for development, testing, QA, pre-production and production.
- Execute operational support tasks on cloud infrastructure, ensuring service continuity and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate in the automation of deployments and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar.
- Monitor the status of serverless services and components, identifying alerts, failures, degradations or anomalous behavior.
- Track incidents and requests, recording evidence, performing initial analysis and escalating to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Validate security configurations, access, IAM roles, policies and permissions in AWS environments.
- Assist in the administration of cloud resources such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, among others.
- Participate in deployment, upgrade and verification activities for components of the serverless solution.
- Perform basic reviews of logs, metrics and traces to support error diagnosis.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation on environments, procedures, configurations and operational flows.
- Collaborate in continuity, backup, recovery and environment validation tests.
- Support the implementation of operational best practices, observability, change control and configuration management.
- Work collaboratively with development, QA, DevOps, security and functional support teams.
- Comply with internal and regulatory standards typical of a banking environment.
Requirements
- Students in the final semesters of Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields.
- One year of experience in similar roles.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS and Azure.
- Understanding of serverless architecture concepts.
- Fundamentals of networking, security and access management in the cloud.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience handling tickets, incidents and change requests.
