Support day-to-day testing activities across development and sustainment test events.
Collaborate with senior test team members and the Government Test Manager to contribute to test planning, including scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables.
Assist in analyzing requirements, designs, and architecture documents to define test objectives and design comprehensive test scenarios.
Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Document test results and track issues and defects using test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and test readiness reviews.
Communicate testing status, risks, and issues effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Support test data management and environment readiness activities in coordination with configuration and release teams.
Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and quality assurance best practices.
Gain familiarity with performance and automated testing tools, supporting senior staff on advanced test strategies.
Requirements
3-4 years of experience in Health IT testing or related software testing roles.
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience with Agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with requirements traceability and defect tracking tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and functional teams.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Tier 2 clearance for the Department of Defense.
U.S. Citizenship required.
