Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including scientists, process development teams, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and executive stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities across upstream, downstream, analytics, and manufacturing workflows.
Position the full BioProduction portfolio to address customer needs, improve productivity, and support scale-up or commercial manufacturing goals.
Collaborate with technical sales specialists, field application specialists, product management, customer service, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity pipelines, account plans, and customer activity records in CRM systems.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer programs, and industry developments to support strategic account growth.
Prepare and deliver business reviews, technical presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive support, consultative selling, and effective issue resolution.
Participate in training programs to maintain strong technical and commercial knowledge of bioproduction products and workflows.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, or a related field.
Proven sales experience in life sciences, bioproduction, biopharma or a related technical market.
Strong understanding of bioprocessing workflows, customer applications, and commercial sales processes.
Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and manage complex accounts.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting systems.
Preferred Master’s degree or advanced scientific training.
Experience selling into biopharmaceutical manufacturing, process development, CDMOs, or biologics production environments.
Key account management experience.
Familiarity with single-use technologies, cell culture media, purification, production chemicals, QC analytics, or related bioproduction solutions.
Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a sales role.
