Role Overview
- Handle benefit requests for complex and/or policy-sensitive files
- Prepare and analyze access requests submitted to the Vice‑President's office
- Participate in experience‑rating assessment and case‑monitoring meetings
- Collaborate with the team to resolve disability-related issues
- Provide recommendations to senior management regarding case handling and progression
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a health‑related field; a master's degree is an asset
- 7 years of experience in disability management
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of administrative procedures in group insurance
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of provincial legislation is an asset
- Effective listening and communication skills
